How do you open Instagram links privately?

Hi, I have a friend that sends me Instagram links quite frequently, are there any Instagram equivalents to, for example, Redlib for Reddit? I know I could do VPN + Mullvad browser on a computer, but honestly if I can’t do it from my phone i’m never opening those instagram links lmao

This isn’t Privacy Guides approved, but I have found https://imginn.com/ to be helpful for viewing Instagram posts sent to me by friends and family on a fairly regular basis. I’ve also tried https://anonyig.com/ but have less experience with it.

Thank you, checked out one of them but it says it shares data with 1300 companies lol… I still think it’s better then viewing it directly on instagram though

Ouch, which one was that? Like I said I don’t really use these that much so it is more of a convenience thing (i deleted my instgram years ago) than something where I actually fully thought out the privacy risks involved. Still, glad I could be, somewhat, helpful though.

Normally the option would be Proxigram but that frontend never got maintained nor does it work anymore

Unfortunately I really don’t see any other working option.

I use https://anonyig.com/ I type the username and it loads all their posts and highlights (I think) as well as their most recent stories. I used https://imginn.com/ previously, but then it stopped working for me. https://storynavigation.com/ and https://flufi.me/ are other alternatives you can try.

Right now, I use nymgram and pixnoy.

Both use a lot of tracking which is why they aren’t used on libredirect, but they can redirect Instagram links w/ a setup like grease monkey. I have my adblockers on for both and I’m betting it’s still less intrusive than having to log into IG.
