I couldn’t find a similar thread with the search. Also, feel free to say if you think there’s a better RSS app than the Miniflux I use. I already have PG and 404 in my feeds.
I like web based RSS feed readers as they provide full flexibility and interoperability no matter the OS I am using. My favorites are BazQux and Feedbin.
Miniflux is also available in that format.
Didn’t know. You said app and thought it was an app.
Bad choice of words, I was focused on feeds.
What kind of feed suggestions are you looking for?
I’m not completely sure yet what I’ll do in the end. I’ve only been learning this for about a week, and it feels like a good way to focus on news that interests me. However, I’ve also noticed that it’s very easy to get overwhelmed by all the junk. So, at this point, my question was mostly about seeing what others are using and testing those options before I start removing things.
Learning what? About RSS or about privacy? ![]()
I’ve gotten used to using RSS so that I don’t have to browse every page separately..
Yeah, I’m still not sure what you’re really asking for here in your OP? You have not been clear but only vague thus far.
Well, I don’t really know how to say it any better. I was thinking about interesting RSS feeds since I thought there are a lot of people here who are interested in similar things.
If you don’t have the recommendations I asked for, please don’t comment. I have already searched online.
Not sure which platform you’re referring to, but on Linux, I really enjoy using Newsflash. It’s got different settings you can mess with and has a “Discover” system that’ll give you a lot of RSS feeds to choose from. However, you can still just add whatever you want manually as well.
I have a .opml with my privacy and security related RSS feeds here
Imported! It looks really good. Thanks!
and a few german rss feeds here
Thanks!
