Dubline (VOIP - Netherlands)

Website

Short description

Dubline is a VOIP provider in the Netherlands

Why I think this tool should be added

It comes with an ios/android app for phone calls. SMS messages can be routed to email and the main advantage is that they offer mobile phone numbers (06) something that is rather uncommon.

Does signal work with this?

Yes! You use that to reach me

Actually given you get a 06 number it has never been declined anywhere.

Does this work outside of the Netherlands? I mean like throughout Europe?

Sorry not sure what you mean? It is internet based so it will work as long as you have internet. Country doesn’t matter. Or do you mean can you call abroad? Also yes.

Cost? Available to anyone in Europe?

so just to be clear, people in the EU and EEA can use Dubline with no catch or?

Though given there’s no native english transation (unless it has in the app), I have some doubts about it working in all other EU Countries and if true there isn’t in both but then works in all EU countries, Idk how usable it is without translation.

[No arguments, just asking for clarification is all. Also no harsh or rude tone]

It doesnt seem super useful to use dutch numbers when residing in other countries. But i see no reason it couldn’t be done. App is fully in English.

nice I’ll check it out
searches it on Google Play
aaaand that’s a nope
well I have the power of sideloading
requires zip code and house number and letter
oh well I can look up zip codes and numbers/letters in netherlands or something
after many tries of a house number and zip code it worked, now it asks for an email and existing phone number

well at this point I’ll never understand the hate with revolut at all, 0 sense compared to this. Anyways I’ll just stick to the smspool method now (not mentioning it’s more anonymous with smspool thanks to monero support and only requiring a username as an identity point and login). You could make an account yes.

It should in fact stay a netherlands thing, at least imo (but I hope not?).
