Good time of the day everyone!
Recently I was looking for a good trustworthy service to fully get rid of identifiable phone numbers and I’ve found a lot of recommendations for US citizens, but almost none for the EU due to strict regulation and different laws. What makes it even harder is that my country has a mandatory ID, face and anus scan to buy any SIM. So I decided to create this guide to give people in the same situation as mine the ability to find their best service as painlessly as possible.
Firstly I would like to warn you, that it’s basically first time I release it publicly so the guide may and I guess will contain mistakes and false statements, even tho creation of this document took around 1 month of afternoon and weekend work, me trying to produce as reliable as possible source. So if you find anything wrong or can share a real feedback about some services please I’m open to any corrections and info.
This document will guide you through all privacy-friendly phone number protection options available for users from the EU. This guide does not aim to recommend services to you, but to provide a trustworthy and structured map of possibilities.
Right now it’s only a notesnook draft, but in the future I’ll publish it as a part of gitlab hosted webpage with similar content guides. I’m also currently investigating privacy-friendly card payment and delivery address options.
