Short description

Commonhealth is a privacy-respecting and FOSS android alternative to Apple Health Records. It allows people to access their electronic health records and securely share it to providers.

Why I think this tool should be added

Commonhealth does not collect or sell personal information. In regards to longevity, it is maintained and sponsored by The Commons Project. It is probably the best alternative to Apple Health Records and MyChart on Android devices.

However, its documentation states that it may not work on rooted devices. We may need to test whether it is compatible with GrapheneOS.

Given an important feature appears to be the interconnectedness with healthcare providers, I suspect it is US-only? When my VPN is connected to the United States, I can install it on the play store (or could at least once, but not consistently - maybe its caching it or something).

Unfortunately, it does appear to be US only. Thanks for testing it out! I’ll make sure to see if there are any alternatives
