I was skeptical about using the default camera and I relied on OpenCamera. NGL, it feels gross to use it although it has robust settings.
But, the default camera of lineageOS has standard design and has pretty good settings(enough for me). So, can I really trust it for regular use?

If you already use LineageOS, then what’s the problem with trusting one of the apps that come with it?
Anyway, by using LineageOS, you have completely broken Android’s security model, and this is something that I wouldn’t use for anything remotely sensitive. I would advise you to go back to the stock OS.

what is there to not trust about it?
OpenCamera has a lot of features but isn’t very modern or point and shoot.
It also has limited support for additional cameras.
Aperture exists because most vendors fail to properly expose the additional cameras, so Lineage hardcodes the values in for all the devices they support.
It works well, but the defaults could be better.
SecureCamera works well too, and Pixel’s properly expose their additional cameras so zoom is very seamless. Defaults are also good.
Really just try them and stick wi…
But the Stock OS is MIUI, which is privacy invasive, isn’t it?
