I was watching a video about things to do in case of a compromised system or account (even if is just suspected). Things like, changing passwords, looking for signs of compromise in other accounts, reinforcing security measures if it’s still possible, etc. And I was thinking that, while the best course of action would probably be to do those in another system entirely, sometimes that’s not available, so the second best option would be to boot another OS, perhaps preferably a live distro given their non-persistent nature. But that leaves the question: What’s the best distro for that? Do you think anything would work or should I go for something more robust and security oriented like Tails or Qubes?
