My distribution of choice’s security advisories suck. Which one should I follow instead? Gentoo’s? Are there any other resources that I should know about, to keep up to date with recent security incidents?
Thanks.

Sounds to me like you should choose a different distro if you don’t trust their team to make you aware of security issues.
Ah that’s probably not enough reason for me to distrohop as long as I can get the news from somewhere else.
Which distro are you using?
Arch btw
Have you been following Arch Linux security advisories, or have you been following a different advisory or have you been using a different distributions security advisory feed?
Yeah been following only Arch’s, but Arch doesn’t keep track very well of security issues as you can see. Gentoo’s seem good at first glance but they don’t publish advisories about kernel vulnerabilities.
Thank you for clarifying this. Unfortunately i don’t have much knowledge of available kernel vulnerability advisory feeds for arch Linux.
I do not Arch as my daily driver (just occasional testing).
With that said, after doing a quick Duckduckgo search, for “Linux kernel advisory feeds” i did find the Ubuntu Security Notices which do appear to list some kernel vulnerabilities.
Whether or not these notices apply at all to your system, i am unsure.
Other forum members may be of more help on this as well, now that the question has been clarified.
