Asking for feedback on my book: A Ninja's Handbook: A book on privacy, security, and anonymity online

This book was a project that I started after two years of constant paranoia and anxiety, trying to achieve a decent level of privacy and anonymity. From the things I learned during that time, I decided to write a book to help jump-start the privacy and anonymity journey of those who might be in the same situation.

I know this book is not a complete guide on how to harden your devices and operating systems, and it wasn’t meant to be. It was supposed to cover the very fundamentals of privacy, security, and anonymity rather than the highly technical stuff that might exhaust and frustrate normies.

Startpage is known to track users and not very competent.

Typing Randomizers and Virtual Keyboards

Mouse Movement Anonymizers

Never understood the usefulness of that, disable JS on websites. If you think your device have a keylogger then you probably have a bigger that rather cannot be mitigated by using virtual keyboard as you might as well have spyware installed.

  1. Kovri Project: Monero plans to integrate the Kovri project, which will route and encrypt transactions through I2P (Invisible Internet Project) nodes, further obscuring the transaction metadata such as IP addresses.

This project is dead btw. I don’t think they will be working on it anymore. Also i2p Zero, it is recommended to use i2pd.

Zcash, opt-in privacy privacy is dumb.

MallwadVPN

typo? MullvadVPN?

Also I find lack of sources and links to be really confusing.

Overall, I think it is decent as resources were collected from PrivacyGuides, PrivSec etc. Can you share and specific pages/sections which is more researched and not covered from other resources like OPSEC page, which could be improved a little bit?

If this project is yours, I think you should publish about it only in the Project Showcase category, at least according to the pinned comment of that category.

You should follow the instructions from the pinned comment I linked previously.
This is the part that applies to you:

Note that I’m not part of the Privacy Guides team, I can be wrong in this regard.

Good luck with your project!
