I’ve been playing with this app for the last couple of weeks. It seems to work very well. Is an adblocking app like Adguard even necessary if I use YogaDNS with either NextDNS or Control D? Since all system DNS queries are forced through YogaDNS and into a DNS of my choosing, I’ll essentially have system-wide adblocking, right?
You can use AdGuard DNS too with it, no? I used to use it way back but gave up on Windows soon after.
Technically, I think yes. But where else in what apps are you trying to block what ads? But if you are, then if it works that’s great.

Also, similar YogaDNS post may already be up here. You may want to read up on that as well since you’re asking about the tool.
I have to use both Windows and macOS. Windows isn’t perfect, and even if I don’t see ads currently, I do want to block as much as and telemetry as possible. If it’s not obvious, I want to lock down and harden Windows as much as I can and within reason.
To me, this is a losing and a tiresome battle. But more power to you.
Again, losing battle. Things change with each update. It’s a massive waste of time. I say that because I used to do the same until I woke up from the nightmare that was using Windows.
I’m not disparaging you. I was in the same boat and I know the want or even the need to do this but I chose sanity finally, is all.
