To be honest I’m not bothered by that, because then maybe more attention will shift then back on what the words are and if they sound reasonable (at least I am hopeful opf that). A lot of these accounts which are clearly bots or sock puppets should be exposed and people really should put a lot less value in what some account on X/Twitter has to say.
I think most of the damage is probably being done though by Facebook which is where a lot of people claim to get their news from.
I don’t think these sites will ban VPN usage entirely as that seems at odds with other needs such as circumventing age verification or draconian censorship regimes.
