Why is Experience Level required?

Advanced or expert would be like seasoned developers, researchers, Investigative journalists.

Hopefully, these experts, if they are around, participate more often, as otherwise, in their absence, we’ll end up assuming LARPers are experts.

As for Investigative Journalists, I’m not as optimistic, as some times they tend to gun for sensationalism. And I don’t buy justification from content creator types (who also look to emulate the said sensationalism) that Journalists have it all sorted.

I make the distinction between real-world reported attacks and theoretical security flaws, because I think it actually does make a huge difference for the end-user, and maybe we just agree to disagree on this point. If anything, it is the exact opposite. Users rely far too much on what they read in the news and media (including and sometimes especially, youtube) instead of relying on security experts.
