Whonix can disable tor to connect internet?

I can’t connect tor if I not use VPN

So I plan disable tor

ACN have disable tor option

Can I connect internet if I disable tor ?

I havent really used Whonix but maybe are you thinking of Tails instead?

No , I think whonix’a gateway is good safe choince

My bad I thought Whonix did not route internet via a Tor connection. Apparently it does as well.

I can’t open any website if I not connect Tor

According to the whonix webpage you should only use Tor.

Are you sure whonix is correct for you? have you tried looking into secureblue?

secureblue: Hardened Fedora Atomic and Fedora CoreOS images

…No , maybe

because it have gateway system can stop something can track me , so I want to use whonix

and this “bro” GPL v3 ?

Are you asking if this is GPL? This should be since it is Fedora but I am not 100% up to date with how Red Hat is handling this.

Is your goal to be completely anonymous or to have a secure operating system? If you are struggling with some of the advanced features it could be good to assess if user convenience can be a trade off for anonymity.

I can use kicksecure

this OS have like whonix’s gateway ?

I am not qualified to answer this with any accuracy.

I think it can be done but would require setting up a VM like virtualbox, route it through a tor-based gateway, and setup that is out of my scope.

This sounds like using QubeOS might be on option. I will refer to others who have more experience here but I do not see any of these options being completed without some experience and knowledge.

How about Kicksecure vs securebluse ?

Please see the recommended page found in this link

Desktop/PC - Privacy Guides

I personally prefer Secureblue over Kicksecure due to the atomic nature and fedora base instead of debian. The hardening features and setup guide are very simple to follow.

Bro , put this issue aside for now

Tor browser … look my new topic

“Huston , we have some problem”

bro we’re trying to make it as convenient as possible for you without sacrificing your goals.
There’s a reason I said “Reconsider your threat model”
it’s not malice, it’s how your approach privacy and security in a way that it will not always inconvenient you…
take an example from @ThePrivacyLurker for one, they reconsidered their mindset and are taking decisions more clearly…

It is up to you to decide how to approach it, If you want to keep using kicksecure, expect to do research till you learn and if we don’t know how to resolve your issues here in this forum. We just don’t, simple as that.

I already test Kicksecure , If I can’t resolve Whonix I will kicksecure

But he prove secureblue’s option , I consider their things
