Like the topic title says, what are our thoughts on iOS 27 and Siri AI?

Sounds like a data breach waiting to happen.
The only good thing about iOS 27 is that they are changing liquid glass design.
I didn’t pay much attention about other stuff except that new passwords app feature where Apple Intelligence will have an option automatically change weak and compromised passwords.
I don’t trust any AI for such sensitive task so it’s a big no no from me.
I thought Matthew Green had some interesting thoughts on this topic.

Do we know how much about this Siri/AI stuff we can turn off? Probably too early to tell, unless we have some folks running the developer beta?

Personally I’m pretty excited about it.
I use Gemini Pro models extensively at work and having the ability to use something similar on my iPhone that is also private enough for many of my use cases sounds awesome.
Though I suspect this will not be the typical PG poster response.
This is the first time Ive decided not to even bother installing an iOS beta because there is no benefit for me
I already reduce transparency and high contrast on so I dont care for the liquid glass customization
The AI features and new Siri wouldn’t even come to me if I wanted it because I guess they need to soft lock as an excuse to convince people to upgrade
