It’s especially frustrating because Apple gets some aspects of privacy correct, but they reject the spirit of privacy overall.
Like an abusive relationship where they say all the right things but don’t let you leave lol.
I like their products, but I like consumer freedom more.
TBH I don’t like iphones. Had the opportunity to use a 13 pro for a couple of days FOC and found it to be capable but very clumsy to use. They are much heavier than a similarly spec’d Sony, the sharp corners started to dig into my hands and fingers on a long call and very slippery too. All the ergonomic charm of a house brick with all the style of one of those cheep Chinese clones you see on ebay. You just couldn’t want one.
