What are Privacy Guides' future goals or plans?

Hello Privacy Guides,

I am very grateful for and proud of how much work and effort the @team and the community here as a whole has put forth into developing not only a great and informational website but also a fantastic community on this forum.

The topic of internet and consumer privacy awareness is very nuanced, but I think it is safe to say that Privacy Guides has had a positive effect on privacy as a whole. Just based on the YouTube videos (which is the only thing I can use as reference, I think), there is an audience of thousands of people wanting to learn about privacy. I’m proud of these numbers, and I’m excited for them to grow. But what does Privacy Guides have in store to keep that growth?

My question to the team will be asked publicly here on the forum, perhaps to foster transparency or public information or what have you: What are Privacy Guides’ future goals or plans? Are there any plans to, for example, play the social media game to grow the YouTube channel? Are there any collaborations or public events lined up? or any networking being done? etc.

I am very excited to see where Privacy Guides is headed and what things they have planned.

On a separate note: I remember enjoying this kind of video (from the Techlore channel, but Jonah was the interviewer). There was some journalism work being done here, which I thought was fantastic! But I also remember being slightly disappointed because I wanted more privacy-oriented questions being asked. At 11:38 in the video, Jonah asks about their cloud security and safety (a privacy-oriented topic) very briefly. The discussion lasted over a minute later until 12:56.

I wished it was longer and went over more things. I feel that if tech journalism just keeps being about new cameras, new AI, new features (rather than about the topics this privacy community cares about) then it’s more difficult for Privacy Guides to reach their goal. I think Privacy Guides culd fill the niche of journalism very well, but it would have to be in a more entertaining fashion. That specific video had 2,000 views, which I think is fantastic.

But I think if Privacy Guides were to actually fill this niche, they could do more to stand out. For inspiration, I am currently very interested in this style of edutainment videos right now.

Privacy and security are always changing and new things come and go.

It would be funny to do a convention or such on different continents. But short term it could be a news source.
