Has anyone tried both of these and would like to share their experience? I am currently using UTM but I’m looking into VirtualBuddy as well.

Sorry for necroposting, but I’m hoping we can get some discussion around this topic.
Many of the apps I use forego leveraging the macOS sandbox, and so I would also be interested in knowing what experience you all have with nested virtualisation of macOS for security purposes.
I have experimented with UTM before, but only for running Linux and Windows before nested virtualisation was possible with Apple silicon. Currently though I use VMWare Fusion for running Linux/Windows.
Does anyone have any insight into the security characteristics of QEMU virtualisation?
