Use YouTube PWA in smartphones

So, I’d like to use the official PWA app and also being able to access to third-party extensions, like in my browser, like YouTube Enhancer and SponsorBlock. I know I could use apps like Grayjay, but it doesn’t mark videos as played in the Google account. For example, when I access YT in my PC the video isn’t marked as played even if I played it using Grayjay with my account logged in, something expected, so I have to obviously use the official thing.

I’m not sure what to do at this point, should I use Firefox for Android and install extensions there for just YT or are there any better alternatives?

If you want google to track your viewing history then either PWA or native apps should be fine. If i must, i would go for PWA + disposible account.

Not much a benefit if you login with a 3rd party client where usability and reliability cannot be guaranteed.

I would say dedicating a Firefox browser to use for YouTube + Extensions is probably the route you wanna go.

Anything else will always run into a usability concern eventually
