Udderance is a text-to-speech (TTS) based augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tool with a focus on simplicity and cross-platform usage.
It is meant to be installed as a PWA (via your browser) on your phone.
Thank you so much for this. I have tried a few closed source AAC apps before, and they just didn’t work for me. My phone is cheap and old, they all lagged horribly and drained my battery. The one you made is fully free, private, runs quickly and beautifully, and is easy to use. Now I don’t need to resort to my AAC cards, pen and paper, or messaging apps when I’m having speech issues. I am just starting to learn to code, and your code is clear enough that with a bit of trial and error I can probably customize my favorite board, Sequoia. When I have a bit of spare money, I’ll make sure to donate.
