Ubuntu snaps telemetry

I see many people state that snaps send telemetry back to Canonical and that is one of the reasons they are not recommended in the privacy community.
Well, i have set up Nextdns on my network and monitored my PC over the course of a few hours. All of my apps are snaps and i saw no connections being sent to Canonical that are specifically coming from the snap packages.

Can someone clarify to me what telemetry is actually being sent and where because i see none?

when we reffer to Ubuntu telemetry, it’s not from snap that it comes from, it is from the operating system. Which you can opt out if you won’t like what Ubuntu will collect, and can see what Data is being sent.

Oh, ok. I already know about that kind of telemetry. The option after install if i want to send statistics to Canonical and also the packages like ubuntu-report popularity-contest apport whoopsie apport-symptoms, which i remove.
I thought there was some separate telemetry that comes from the snap apps.

snapd (Snap) assigns a unique ID to your installation and uses it for telemetry.

The telemetry in question that i see from this link is only about what snaps i have installed so i can receive updates?
I do not see any details about what telemetry specifically is being sent other than a list of snaps i have installed.
