Trackers blocked in vpn,

Hi i am new to vpn and privacy.
When i am not using the internet, there are still alot of trackers being blocked.

Update.
At 13:41 after playing Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 for an hour.
There where over 1600 trackers blocked. To me that is a very high number.
and my vpn tent to chose servers from usa and switzerland.

A day or two ago, i ran security task manager.
I did again today and fund 7 super cookies( had to look that up )
I might be paranoid, but a little paranoid is a good thing.

Sounds like you have malware installed, the security scanner itself!

I’m not quite sure what you mean. But if I understand correctly, you are saying that you block trackers when playing offline games even though you are not using the browser in the background, right?

This can have the following causes:

  • Your operating system or other software in the background is sending information that is blocked by your tracking blocker. Even if you are not actively using it.

  • It may be that your 1600 trackers have been blocked by the same “tracker”. e.g. a small tracker tries to re-establish the connection every time a connection fails. And so it is blocked every second.

Or you overblock something. e.g. if you block all Google domains but still use the Google Chrome browser, it will of course still try to get the updates from Google and therefore always ask again.

I don’t even know what that security task manager is but if it isn’t your operating systems internal tool and a third party one - I would remove it.

Also, which VPN are you using? We here only recommend 3 VPNs you should use and avoid others.

Proton vpn plus
Firefox browser
