Question on VPN usage across apps and a try for visual guide

Been using for a while GrapheneOS with VPN for general usage and Tor for most of the online activities. My goal is to avoid tracking and be as anonymous as possible. I tried to visualize the different options here, which helps me a lot to structure it:

DNS/FW-Blocking is done via RethinkDNS. These mechanisms can be applied to the following apps and same for browser activities.

Now, my question is: would it be possible that I am tracked and identified across apps, that have my real/personal data and those that don’t? Like, are there some identifiers that would link my bank activities (via VPN) to those in another app (same VPN) and expose my real identity?

Great community btw, been reading intensively since months. Cheers!

Seems my topic title was too vague, sorry for that!

For others, who will also look for this question: after having searched the forum more thoroughly, it seems there is not a real agreement on this. PG’s overview How Do VPNs Protect Your Privacy? Our VPN Overview - Privacy Guides says

When isn’t a VPN suitable?

Using a VPN in cases where you’re using your real-life or well-known identity online is unlikely to be useful. Doing so may trigger spam and fraud detection systems, such as if you were to log into your bank’s website.

Which is not really against it but doubts the usefulness.

Also, other related topics (again with no clear conclusions) are:

This topic can be closed then

Cheers!

bro just put everything over tor.

Yeah, that would be the best. But Tor, or Orbot as VPN, is too slow for most usages and your access will get blocked way more often. Hope this will improve in the future.
