IMO it misses a different aspect: digital media competence.
There probably is a huge data-broker lobby (= lots of money) involved, trying to nudge people into accepting dead privacy as the new norm. AI and bots form the simplest instrument to manipulate conversation flow and opinions.
Hence more people need to gain the ability to critically reflect digital media sources and be aware of the fact, that not all comments stem from humans.
