It doesn’t back up your system or things like apps, but it is not recommended to back up or restore those things on Windows, which is why the other one was deprecated in the first place. The recommended way to restore this stuff is to reinstall from scratch, so you might want to back up installers for software you don’t want to lose, in case they’re no longer available on the internet in the future.
The reason this is such a worry for me is because the App I choose will have 100% access to all of my files on my local internal hard drives and ALSO my external hard drives connected via USB or WiFi.
