Free and open source call and SMS spam blocker for iOS and Android that filters locally on the device.
Why I think this tool should be added
I have been running this for a few weeks on GrapheneOS and it killed all the daily telemarketing and AI calls, so I figured it was worth bringing here rather than keeping to myself.
A lot of these calls are AI driven now, and some of them are not trying to sell you anything.
They keep you talking to collect a sample of your voice, and a cloned voice is enough to get consent recorded at a bank for things like direct debits.
In France we get enough of these calls that picking one up eventually is a matter of time.
What it has going for it

GPLv3, sources on Codeberg for both clients, Android build on F-Droid. The GitHub repos are archived mirrors since February 2026 and only point back to Codeberg.

Blocking is local. The lists sit on the device and refresh about once a day, so no lookup leaves the phone per incoming call and it works offline.

The Android build requests four permissions: network, sensors and notifications. No contacts access, no ads, no account.

Roughly 16 million numbers, built from ARCEP allocated telemarketing ranges plus in-app user reports thanks to its great community behind.

Reporting a number sends that number and a random install UUID to a server in France.
Known limits: prefix based blocking does nothing against spoofed mobile numbers, the project scopes itself to France explicitly even though nothing in the design is France specific.
