Whatâs your views about Ivy Wallet in 2024?
Ivy Wallet
I didnât try it but it have google analytics
I recommend Money Manager EX, its free and open source, cross platform expense tracker with good functionalities.
I used spreadsheet (excel and Cryptpad) in the past, spreadsheets are a bit too complicated to upkeep, and to include scheduled transaction you will need to add userscript. Also if you use Cryptpad, you will find the file size grow like a balloon.
Hey people, Cashewâs github page shows no update since july 2024 but the playstore version was updated in Jun 2025. Is the source not available anymore or has the development stopped?
maybe the commit will take a while? I would check back within at most a day but otherwise it is odd yes.
The beta update code is not yet public.

The code is GPL, how can they hide it?
@overdrawn98901
If they arenât including other GPL code, the license does not apply to them.
If they are including other GPL code, they have to comply with any requests for it, but they donât actually have to pre-emptively publish it.
If they are including other GPL code and others have asked for it and it wasnât given, only then are they in violation.
Anecdotally, considering theyâre doing this during a major version bump I wouldnât be surprised if it just goes proprietary.
I see no one mentionned Paisa. It is a free and opensource local expenses manager for Android. GitHub - ananthakumaran/paisa: Paisa â Personal Finance Manager. https://paisa.fyi demo: https://demo.paisa.fyi
You can use a spreadsheets app on Android, like OnlyOffice or LibreOffice.
Some news showed up recently that local documents on Office are not even that local anymore and that data (content?) about them is sent to Microsoft.
It has been almost a year since the release on Github but play store apps was updated recently. Thatâs why I was curious.
