Recommendations for the Best Residential VPN for Occasional Use

Hello everyone,

If a person needs advice on the best residential VPN or Proxy services for occasional use, there is a specific requirement for a residential IP address because it has been found that even dedicated IP addresses are flagged as VPNs. Therefore, an IP that cannot be flagged as a VPN is necessary.

Here are the key features being looked for:

  1. Residential IP Addresses: To avoid detection as a VPN.
  2. Short-Term Subscription Options: Ideally, a subscription for just one month is desired, as it is only needed for occasional situations.
  3. Affordability: The cheapest options available are preferred.
  4. Privacy Assurance: The service must not share the IP address or any personal information of the person requiring the subscription.

If anyone has experience with residential VPNs that meet these criteria, recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, any insights on performance, reliability, and customer support would be extremely helpful!

Thanks in advance for the help! Looking forward to suggestions!

What about 30days esim? Or even less if you need It for one time or few times. Maybe install esim in another device and make hotspot.

Windscribe provides residential IPs .

They have no logging policy. So, if you trust them you can use it. If you do not trust them you can bridge VPN connections to Windscribe (connecting to Windscirbe through ProtonVPN or Mullvad).

Can you elaborate, please?

If you pay Windscribe anonymously and connect to the residential IP through a trusted VPN (Mullvad, Proton, IVPN) Windscribe will have no information about you.

To chain VPN connections:

  1. Use virtual machines. Connect to VPN on the host and oconnect to the other VPN inside the virtual machine , or bridge VPN through a virtual machine to another one.

  2. Hotspot or tether your connection through your phone while connected to the VPN and connect to the other VPN on the computer or phone.

  3. Set your router to connect to VPN by providing it with the OpenVPN, Wireguard configs. Then connect to the other VPN on your device.

  4. Phones:
Currently there is no way to chain 2 VPNs on Android. However RethinkDNS has stated that the next update (v055o) to the app will provide the ability to chain VPNs.

No I mean for the 30days esim.

You can buy anonymous esims from silent.link, they accept monero payments. But you will not be anonymous unless you use the esim away from your house or common place of work/travel.

Hop on Mysterium VPN and check your IP reputation with https://spur.us
If it’s detected as a “small gateway” you are good. May have to switch servers a few times as it’s mixed with datacenter/residential.

Do they share the IP address of the person requiring the subscription?
