Privacy Respecting Android app that blocks websites all the time

I’ve been looking at apps that are able to block specific websites as checking news websites & their YouTube channels is literally giving me nightmares.
I don’t feel great about apps with lots of permissions that can see my browsing history & sell it.
I also don’t know if such an app will be able to see browsing activity in a private tab or if a VPN will cause issues with blocking the sites I wish to block.
I looked at Blocksite but Tosdr didn’t have any info blocksite - ToS;DR

I’d like to specifically block 2 Youtube channels and the same channels on Invidious (https://inv.nadeko.net) and any possibility of any embeds of those videos on Invidious without blocking those video websites entirely,so I can look at unrelated videos on different channels.
I’m willing to pay for a one time fee if the app is privacy respecting & works well.
(I only have access to mobile data)
Browsers : duckduckgo,Brave,Firefox
and Vivaldi (not all installed but would be the easiest and most familiar browsers for me to install to bypass things if I got too curious)
An important feature would be a password lock,so my friend can have it so I can’t uninstall the app without their help.
Thanks!

I recommend NextDNS and giving that a try. It has a lot of cool functionalities and features for blocking ads, trackers, and any website you want. It is also highly privacy respecting and a reputable service.

Depending on the OS and the VPN, NextDNS also works alongside a VPN. Last I checked, NextDNS + ProtonVPN on macOS do work if you have the profile installed on macOS directly and you use the VPN as normal.

Thanks,I do use Proton VPN but this is for an Android,I don’t use Apple products at all for anything

Check out Digipaws and see if it is something you like.
