Hey, I just wanted to ask about a little quirk of the forums which I indicated in the title.
A while ago, the default display for reactions/emojis for posts has become a short note that says “x Reactions”, which can be expanded.
However, there is a tiny annoyance for mobile users: It interferes with and stops right-handed thumb scrolling.
At least this applies on my screen size (a surely common ~6.5” screen) and scrolling behavior, as well as my thumb position.
Currently it always prioritizes expanding the reactions instead of scrolling, resulting in recurring inconvenient and forced reorientations of the thumb from it’s resting position.
This is not a huge deal, but speaking for myself, I can barely scroll over one post without being stopped in my track.
So I propose considering either moving the activation area (more central? left would trigger the same with left thumbs), or possibly change the triggering behavior.
If it’s not possible or too big a hassle, that’s fine. I at least wanted to make somebody aware of this.
