The article actually seems quite good, I think I will forward the article to my ISPs and ask them questions.
Though I mostly use VoWiFi instead. I assume VoWiFi has a different SIP header, at least it should not have CellID which is the most concerning as VoWiFi can work without connecting to a Cell Tower.
However the rest of the SIP header is concerning enough, and more surprisingly the debug section was visible to handset.
Heh classic isp shenanigan. I actually 100% can confirm and guarantee that majority of mobile isp in my country are mitm-ing realtime connection of every users even on ssl. Thats obviously bad, but this o2 shenanigan is something else.
A stalker, or a kidnapper or hell even a hitman would love this.
