IVPN just updated their tiers. I’ve connected to IVPN dashboard today and realised that my Pro plan migrated to the new Pro Suite, now including modDNS (NextDNS alternative), MailX (email aliasing), and Portmaster Pro (which is new for me and quite interesting, I’m exploring the app on Linux).
Device limit also bumped from 7 to 10. Solid value add for existing and new subscribers.
I love their service, kudos to IVPN team!
Updated the base plan too to match Mullvad with 5EUR / 5 devices and the base plan also includes multihop which it didn’t before!
I am not trying it until I get confirmation that Portmaster works together with IVPN. The integration breaks in Portmaster and is fixed immediately when IVPN is turned off. Has the situation been fixed in a week? @viktorivpn
Every time I click ‘Set up Portmaster’, it leads to a 404 page not found. @viktorivpn
How’s the install process on Windows nowadays for Portmaster? The last three attempts I made was not without severe issues.

They’ve done a great job.
My observation:
They’ve removed the second and third year subscriptions, with no additional discount. They’ve added multi-hop to the basic plan.
They’re straightforward in their details and clear on the homepage, including the technical limitations they consider. No inflated prices or information overload.
It would be fantastic if Portmaster were available for Android as well. I need an app like that.
This is a huge step forward. How is it possible for such a small team to produce such high-quality work?

You don’t have to setup IVPN in Portmaster, you empty the DNS list in Portmaster and connect to IVPN normally, IVPN DNS configuration will take place.
modDNS infra / endpoints / setup is separate from IVPN DNS.
When using modDNS at system-level and IVPN, modDNS will be used as DNS configuration.
2 and 3 year top-ups are available, we just stopped putting them in the forefront due to too much info on Pricing and informational pages. just check the payment step.
Android support for Portmaster is planned as the next OS, it’s not a straightforward exercise so we have no ETA.
