I just bought a mullvad vpn key (6 months) for $9 and only me using this key with full 5 devices
The seller promised me a warranty. Do you know how the seller got the key so cheap while Mullvad only has a single plan of $5 a month ?
Maybe stolen
Can you explain your post more and perhaps use proper grammar and punctuation? I’m not sure what you mean.
Edit: no idea why I am being down-voted because it not an illegitimate question. I want to help but can’t if don’t understand the question in full. Sigh. Whatever…
Yeah, I’m thinking this as well. There’s a whole market for account and key selling and stealing out there, most compromised through phishing. If the seller had multiple keys for sale at this price, they were almost certainly obtained dubioisly.
Another option, though unlikely, is they bought a key for themself/someone else, and realized they didn’t need it and are just reselling it. I doubt this though since they’re selling so cheap, and even moreso if they have multiple for sale.
Sounds really suspicious… I wouldn’t risk using it!
Please only buy from mullvad.net or links they reference.
Don’t mean to come across rude but: How would we know how the seller got the key?
And why would you believe a random person on the internet selling you s.it, at this difference of price (30 vs 9$)?
Good thing is you have doubt. Otherwise you would not post here.
I would delete the account (or at least not use it) and buy the normal plan for 5$/month.
What kinda of warranty could he even guarantee? Also you can’t change the key I believe, so he still has access no?
Warrenty in those cases is provided by giving out a new key (stolen as well).

It’s DEFINITELY worth it to pay the full price (a measely $5) to buy from Mullvad’s official site and know what you’re installing is legitimate/genuine software.
This shouldn’t even be up for debate…
