I was wondering if disabling mms in the APN profile could help reduce attack surface. Does it break things?
Yes I think that should be possible. Personally I only use data only SIM cards + voip though.
What everyone should do is just disabling auto downloading of MMS. The downside of removing the APN is that you might miss messages.
