Watching this, I think LTT Media is more likely than not using the right tools for their workflow nor may not have their auth set up done right.

Moving to better password managers and software passkeys (while ensuring the URIs are correct for each page on which credentials are saved) should fix most of their frustrations.

Have any one you faced any issues with authentication since having moved to the likes of Proton Pass or Bitwarden? The auto-fill and auto save pop ups work really well and I don’t seem to have issues being grieved about in the video.

What do you all think?

Allias generation is sometimes lacking. It wouldn’t detect this is a register and only propose using my personal email. Also it doesn’t detect password changes well, and sometimes propose to auto-save too soon, in two-steps process.

It really does depend on the service and the extension but this is not an issue with Proton Pass for sure. I don’t know about others.

Then I suppose Proton Pass should be encouraged as much as possible. It deserves the praise for all that it is.

What I meant was I don’t see these issues with Proton Pass so only others may have it.
