The fact @staff lets people make these jokey / spammy tool suggestions is far beyond the patience i would ever have.

this should atleast be in off-topic if not unlisted.

Is this Reddit now, are we farming heart emoji icons?

Just have a look @ their Wikipedia page, numerous leaks and shady communication about it.

Nothing like this happened with Bitwarden, Dashlane.

Most of SaaS password manager have DN monitoring.

Offline access is possible with literally every single password manager if you have a web browser extension or a desktop client.

Some elements directly related to your post intrigues me :

“LastPass is not open source, but as a community we’ve agreed that releasing the source code does not matter”

The links you put are external links to this forum and are not related with the statement. Even if it’s true to say that a part of the community does not only rely on open-source to declare something secure, this isn’t an argument. Numerous independent audits have been conducted against other solutions too. Nothing special about LastPass overthere.

LastPass offers the best UX and features of any password manager, leagues ahead of Bitwarden, Proton Pass, and even 1Password.

This looks like a shady advertisement. UI appreciation is up to every user. A tool should not be recommended (only) because of its UI in our case, but for the privacy / security it offers.

Trolling the PG forums because you cannot have your way will not change anything for the better @Privium so please refrain from such behaviour.
