FWIW I reached out to their support team about this and they told me that XMR withdrawals are temporarily paused due to an “incident.” These types of error messages are being triggered as a result. Sounds like it could just be technical difficulties.
I once again reiterate to folks reading - find a crypto ATM to use so you can avoid KYC and use cash to deposit in your non custodial wallet directly. I really hope more people knew this and understood why this is the best and easiest way to go about acquiring crypto.

Unfortunately these ATMs rarely if ever allow buying XMR directly. Sure you could buy some other crypto and convert afterwards, but that is significantly less convenient and you incur more fees.
Depends on where you live and what kind or brands of ATMs available.
This also depends on how one evaluates convenience. Sounds like a personal one and a first world issue but alright.
According to a some people on that Reddit thread, it could be caused by a bug?
