It’s trustworthy, If you are dealing with personal documents, you can always use Picocrypt first and hand over the decryption key to the receiver.
You can safely share secrets with Privatebin just make sure to enable “burn after reading”
Another method would be setting up something like Syncthing between you and the other party.

I think Syncthing isnt set up yet to handle this kind of use case. Syncthing needs a lot of things to fiddle with prior to it working properly.
I like wormhole.app.
You can also use any recommended cloud service to do that, but this means trusting the cloud service handling that sensitive information. See if this method can work for you.
