Is it ok to use a regular Android phone as a modem in Tails?

What I mean is this:

My router with Wi-Fi enabled → laptop with regular Android phone connect with USB with modem mode enabled and in plane mode using Wi-Fi → Tails in “plane mode” → Tor Browser

I may also use SIM card data if I don’t have a Wi-Fi availible, as a way to use Tails anywhere I want.

Is this generally acceptable? What are the risks other than some sort of USB related exploit?

I guess if you use SIM card internet then they can see that you are using Tor? Other than that, same thing as if your ISP sees you are using Tor. Not a big deal in any jurisdiction where it’s not illegal. Im talking about technically using the phone as a modem.

As far as I can tell, it should be completely isolated to what is going on in Tails, but let me know what you think.

Your connection to the network is handled and secured by the client you’re using. So Tails doesn’t really care about what device is doing your networking

Not sure what im supposed to look at here. You mean this?

Zardaxt OS Scoring:
Android (54%), Linux (49%), Windows (20%), macOS (17%), iOS (16%)

Everytime I switch Tor IPs with “New Tor circuit for this site” it changes.

I have booted Tails on the desktop which is connected directly to the router with an ethernet cable and I get similar ratios as seen above.

“Satori Signature” sometimes shows Debian, Ubuntu and Linux and sometimes shows “no matches” and “Link Type (p0f)” shows “Ethernet or modem”. This is the same behaviour seen on the laptop connecting throught the phone in USB modem mode, user agent shows the same. So in conclusion, im not seeing any differences unless im missing something, which means Tails seems to be working at completely isolating whatever device you connect to with as both desktop+ethernet and laptop+phone create the same results at least from what I can see on this site.
