Why so little votes? Had to bump this up.

I don’t like to use multiple profiles, so I only use the main one. It would be unrealistic to route everything on my phone through Tor, so I use a VPN.

I use 100% of the time a VPN with Kill switch and I would like to know if it is useful according to you to use Orbot + a VPN on phone to reinforce even more its “anonymity”?
Orbot recommends use on messaging and social networks, Signal, Whatsapp, Discord etc…

What do you think?

You should use Tor for as many things as possible, as long as it makes sense. Don’t do gaming or video calls on it, it will be a horrible experience, and it doesn’t make sense.

For those of you who use a VPN in both main and user profile, do you use the same provider or a different one?

You can’t use Orbot + VPN on a phone (at least not on android). Orbot takes the VPN slot so you have to pick one.

whatever apps you want over Tor have to still support a proxy override, otherwise it doesn’t do anything

Either the people voting don’t know what they’re voting for, or a surprising amount of people take advantage of the Work profile and use a VPN there.
