  1. Using banking apps or any app through tor won’t make your connection unsafe generally. But since its a banking app, many banks would flag such access as usually tor exit nodes might be falsely flagged by banks. Using it through normal isp connection or a VPN connection would be a better option.

I think you should focus more on isolating apps thorugh profiles than routing them through Tor. Like using a work profile for different set of apps would be highly recommended.
I personally use a VPN in the main profile and keep the work profile in normal isp connection. The work profile contains non-essential apps or like any social media apps which refuse to go over a VPN.
I don’t think you should keep a private dns if you use a VPN or even orbot. It can lead to dns leaks

Isolating Apps how? Should i use Shelter or something like inbuilt Guest mode on the phone?

yes i use shelter. By guest mode i think you mean a separate profile which is also a good solution but usually its not very convenient to use and switch between profiles. So work profile becomes much convenient to use and bringing in most benefits of isolation.
