Errr…pretty sure 1MM is very widely used for millions, but it could just be redditor-brain.

Forgive me, this is the first time I see 1MM being used. I am used to Roman numerals, but I have never used millions in numerals. Furthermore, in American slang, it’s common to refer to “M” as a million. So when I saw two Ms, I didn’t get it because I was no thinking of Roman numerals.

Yeah. I was asking about passcodes because my friend wants her partner to be able to access her phone via PIN in case there are any issues.

EDIT: As a side note, pretty sure the last iPhone with fingerprints was like the 8 or something.

Hahah, what a side quest. Yah, it’s definitely a reddit thing, cause I’m seeing threads from like 10yrs ago arguing about 1M vs 1MM, lol. I’m gonna take a hard stance though defending m/mm for measurements, 1k/1MM for quantities, and the use of Oxford commas.
