How to remove indexed search engines from Brave's Quick-Search Engines on Android?

So recently I was looking at my Brave settings for my Android phone and discovered that the Quick-Search Engines feature (Settings > Search engines > Quick-Search Engines) is functioning as some sort of permanent history for me. This is probably because Settings > Search engines > Index other search engines is enabled, which makes Brave automatically index search engines from websites I’ve visited which follow the OpenSearch specification.

Because it’s been enabled for a while now, it has indexed many, many websites that I visit. One of which is this forum here. The reason why I say it funcitons “as some sort of permanent history” is because I am not able to delete the websites from the Quick-Search Engines view. I can certainly delist them from the search function, but it’s still listed in the backend in Quick-Search Engines view.

Does anyone know how to delete them without clearing the app storage?

I’m thinking that we should additionally note this down in the Brave mobile section so that others are aware of it, but someone else can make a thread for that if they wish.
