I am still new to the whole privacy rabbit hole, and now that I see that the Canadian goverment is trying to pass Bill C-22, I wonder how can one protect themselves from it?
All advice would be appreciated 
(I could not find any other discussions on how to protect oneself from Bill C-22, although maybe I did not look hard enough. Sorry if I am breaking any rules.)
If the bill pass the senate, it will not be enforced to company with no legal presence in Canada.
At least that my experience, so you could use company products that are not based in Canada or don’t care about canadian laws.
I don’t see how for example they will force Signal, Tuta, proton to respect their request.
Yeah, I agree with you on that, however, for stuff that people use on the daily, I think it would be harder to protect oneself from. For example, internet providers (phone carriers)…
