Maybe the most straightforward way would be to dress all black and wear a skimask or hood + medical mask. But I think this could easily attract unwanted attention.
I am not sure if this attention is really a problem, since it’s legal to wear such an outfit in my jurisdiction so even if they call the police and the unlikely scenario happens that they arrive fast enough that I am still at the scene, nothing significant would happen to me.
But is there a less attention attracting way to dodge cameras?
Generally speaking, you would stick to whatever is socially accepted where you live.
Keep in mind that in some jurisdictions it is even illegal to carry items that could be used to disguise yourself, if you are on your way to a place or event where it is not allowed, even if you don’t disguise yourself.
With that being said, usual, inconspicuous items besides your hoodie or medical mask would be:
A scarf you could loosely wrap over mouth or even nose
Sunglasses, even in winter. I had a pair of barely tinted ones myself, which only covered UV and had a almost fully reflective mirror coating.
Regular fashion glasses with big frames. E.g. nerd glasses, if you will.
Hats, ones with a wide brim. Could be combined with long coats to disguise body shape.
Also, depending on the country you’re in, there are systems that even detect your gait and posture. These habits are difficult to get rid of, but also hard to associate to a specific person without other attributes.
Another option would be to avoid cameras altogether, if they are documented anywhere. OpenStreetMap has many public ones (in my area at least), and you could even contribute yourself. I use the surveillance POIs in OsmAnd for example.
It could do in older days, a human cameras operators.
Nowday “they” could do retinal scan at ATM or count every people going in and out of dead zone and mark one that entered it but not leaved and one that not entered but leaved it and corelate them to one tag.
The question is how much “they” want to idetify you or identify every people at this said place under surveillance?

I just noticed that an umbrella may work. Although it looks normally only outside and during a rain of course. But if you keep it low enough, it covers you from the above from where the cameras look at you. I realized it because when I’m out at a rain I keep it super low to avoid any eye contact with strangers, which I don’t like, probably thanks to my social anxiety or autism, lol.
Is there a window film that could obscure what an outside camera can see, but still allow humans to see through?
In my imagination it would be a film that could be placed inside of a vehicle windshield and obscure Fl*ck type cameras from capturing the peoples personal images yet still allow humans to see into the vehicle (so as not to be an illegal coating like those ultra dark windows).
Do you mean with socially acceptable that people will view it as normal or if they would call the cops?
And I think that even if they would call the cops, I can deal with it, since police response time is very high in my area and I don’t so something illegal anyway.
If they have big frame and hide my eyes, that would be good.

Yes, I meant the first, so being seen as a random person people pass by without being seen as strange or extravagant. Of course you would not want to walk around with a stocking over your head like a stereotypical bank robber.
Yeah, really big ones like typical fashionista ones would do that, especially if you’re a woman.
They are, but not a lot of people wear hats. So unassuming seasonal ones are a good idea, like Panama hats during the summer. And given a wide enough brim, they’d protect even from cameras not too high up. Especially cowboy hats are easy for the United States.
In that case, assuming you’re not breaking into one of those, people should not care even if you wore a mask. They’d probably notice that you would take it off right after you fetched your parcel via legitimate means and showed them your face.
Then again, if there is a camera that is obviously just for surveillance in this locker, I’d probably just obstruct the camera opening.
I remember seeing some geeky gadget like a baseball hat with battery inside and a brim ringed with almost invisible high intensity IR LEDs that can “blind” cameras (but are invisible to the uman eye). Does nayone remember this? Is this still around?
I am very skeptical on this, but I’d be interested if I can be proven wrong. All studies I have seen so far trying to do this always work on “lab” conditions (small sample of people, pre-trained, and then try to identify one from the set).
Yeah, it also depends on your age.
When I speak of coats, I mean woolen coats, like business- or wealthier people tend to wear. Hats do complement them easily.
Also, in summer you’d need a different approach, although Panama (straw) hats are also not too uncommon where I live, but their more common brims are narrow.
Since you mentioned the locker box, which I assume has a camera at eye level, I’d probably stick to sunglasses and a baseball cap, or cover the camera like I mentioned earlier.
Depending on where you live and how you want to protect yourself, you could also have different dress profiles.
E.g. wear Hip Hop-/street war (to include the sunglasses and baseball cap), then switch it up occasionally to more formal or elegant clothing, so these appear disconnected.
Of course that only works if some of the more powerful surveillance tools are not already deployed where you live, but these should be enough to disappear to some degree for where there is “only” mild surveillance, I think.
The hated one has a good video on this where he goes pretty deep on the schizo iceberg. Pebbles in your shoes to disturb your gait pattern etc. Could be worth a watch
I mean tools like the already mentioned gait or body shape/posture analysis or even infrared imaging of body heat, given a person is radiating more heat if excited or nervous.
But as @not-wittingly signals, we’re talking about extreme means and measures then, almost everywhere unfeasible and unrealistic to be deployed and maintain.
It’s not about singling out individuals by one of these extreme tools, it’s more like building a high enough confidence level in a cross-referenced profile.
Think about it as the system being 50% (arbitrary) certain that the gait is yours. It is then connected to body height and shape for example, which can quickly increase the confidence.
