How do you guys send large files privately?
This time i had an issue with that. I had over 2,5 gb of PDFs and videos (presentation and teasers for my project). And i use Limeshare + picocrypt archive in “paranoid” mode for such cases. Or if files extra sensitive OnionShare + Picocrypt.
Do you have any thoughts or improvements for this situations?
Probably not what you’re looking for, but I just grant people access to a folder on Proton Drive.

I’d say that a Send with basic auth middleware exposed for a few minutes (with Cloudflare tunnels or Netbird’s or anything Grok-like really) is a cool way to go for a quick and temporary (yet still secure) endpoint.
I recently tried to backup 400GB of local data on an S3-compatible cloud provider, it ingested it extremely well and fast[1]. So given that, you can very easily wire that in the same way + encrypt it before upload.
And Send also gives you plenty of small niceties like password prompt, number of download etc…and it works with a CLI-only too. 
If not enough, you could always have a Wireguard/Netbird shared with a friend to remotely connect to some kind of storage straight into your homelab (SMB, Nextcloud).
Coud also be as simple as exchange of SSH keys + rsync between your 2 machines directly.

You can always split it on smaller chunks, ship it on a floppy disk (or maybe even an M-disc) and send a truck to the person for a DHL delivery.

Have you tried OnionShare? I don’t know if there’s a size limit.
Although the answer may be obvious, the first question you need to ask yourself is:
1) Are the files personal or sensitive?
Are the files about you, your family, or some secret work project that is sensitive? Or are they merely impersonal files that are big?
If it’s the former, you’ll want to use an end-to-end- encrypted service:
I have a paid Filen account that I use when I have large, sensitive files to send. Although Filen has yearly and monthly subscriptions, you can pay for 100 GB once for a lifetime. That being said, Filen is still a fairly new and fairly small company, so make sure that any file you back up there is backed up elsewhere.
If the files are not sensitive, I use SwissTransfer (by Infomaniak) or Transfer.it by MEGA. When I use them, they are not linked to any account.
Neither are end-to-end encrypted, but they allow large files. For SwissTransfer it’s up to 50 GB. For Transfer.it it’s currently unlimited. If I were to send large video files I downloaded off of YouTube, this is the route I would go because it’s impersonal. There is no danger if they are exposed somehow. I also protect myself by not linking my upload to an account. Both services also allow for password protection.

For now it is the easiest way to send for me. But unfortunately not so high speed.
No file size limit, at least i never reached it
It is complex files. Some mess with videos + pics (not sensitive) and another (this time sensitive) mess with presentations (pdf), videos, docs…
For backups i use plain external drives. I don’t need cloud storage (like permanent) i need only way to share files without bigthech “eyes” and with being hijacked.
This is interesting. Partly sensetive (ine part - sensitive, another - no). If i encypt them with picocrypt (in paranoid mode) before upload there, is it enough?
Or zip password + picocrypt?
I don’t know what picocrypt is, but yes, you could zip with a password. Or use another archiving format like .rar.
Proton Drive or other trusted services mentioned above. My dad once uploaded like 10 GB of family photos to a random no-name website, just so he can share it with me. I could still not recover from that.
