How can I redirect Google Maps to OpenStreetMaps in Firefox?

Hello

Anybody know how to force redirect google (evil corp) maps links to OSM?

I mean if somebody sent me something like this type of crap:
https://maps.app.goo.gl/M9CredactedSax8cL86
https://www.google.com/maps/place/Bytecoin+Crypto+Exchange/@00.6446728,00.6257159,17z/data=!redacted!4m6!3m5!redacted88!4redacted!16s%2Fg%2F11v0pr7c0x?hl=uk&entry=ttu

The main thing if I click to this crap I should be redirected to OpenStreetMap.

Can somebody advise extension or maybe userscript?

Browser: Firefox (hate chrome)

You seem to be from the anti-Google camp. So I’m just chiming in to tell you that it’s not a smart approach to privacy and security.

It is not about security or privacy. I just hate that company and I don’t want to make it earn even 1 cent from me. I don’t care about other companies.

Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Meta are just as bad, some of them are even worse.

Looks that there is some work going on in here: Open Google Maps, OSM and geo url links in Organic Maps · Issue #475 · organicmaps/organicmaps · GitHub

You can get this app too: UntrackMe | F-Droid - Free and Open Source Android App Repository

You could try LibRedirect extension and see if they have something similar

LibRedirect

Can confirm that LibRedirect has indeed an option for OpenStreetMap.
