Hosting public minecraft server via 4G prepaid internet plan

I’m planning of hosting minecraft server using 4G prepaid internet plan on my router that accepts sim cards.

I have read that it is not possible to open ports with 4G prepaid internet because it is not static IP (can’t remember exact reason but was something like this). But also I have read that I could buy VPS and then route my local server that runs with 4G prepaid internet to it.

So, my question is what are my options and is it possible?
My ultimate goal is to add more privacy, anonomity and security with this method. I want to host server that is accessible to everyone who wants to play in my minecraft server.

You will have a terrible experience hosting anything with latency sensitivity over a 4G connection.

I’m more interested about if its possible

It is definitely possible, but you need a VPS to provide a public IP. Or you could probably also use something like Tailscale. There will be a bit more latency, but it shouldn’t be awful so long as your link is consistent.

So, my question is what are my options and is it possible?

You can open ports even if you have a dynamic IP and not a static IP. The technology is not the limit here rather if your ISP prevents your from doing it.
If you don’t have a static IP you need a dynDNS provider and Port-Forward.

You can use a VPN-reverse Proxy like Cloudflare tunnel or Pangolin without opening a port.

You can use a ZTNA like Netbird or TwinGate without opening a port.

That are the three ways it is possible.
I would not recommend it. Your ISP doesn’t care a shit about you if you not pay them a few thousand a month, and so they are treating you.
The modem that they give you is mostly shit without any security. From my personal experience I would not recommend opening any port at your home.
