I just want to state that deleting and not having any accounts with the big three tech companies is a non-starter. I suspect I’m not alone here.
What I want to do and have started already is to clean up and harden my accounts to improve my privacy and security such as enabling Apple’s Advanced Data Protection and turning off YouTube’s history. Has PG considered making a guide? Would love to have a discussion with the community here on how to do this.
You can contribute to the Community Wiki category by joining the @wiki-editors group. Since it appears you are not planning to delete any Big Tech accounts based on your initial post, you are in a very strong position to create and maintain a guide for the Privacy Guides Community until you are ready to delete those accounts later on.
I do not think there is anything to discuss here. If you are already starting to configure everything without any guide, then you are already past the point of discussion and are well on your way to achieving a configuration that suits your threat model. We can celebrate alongside you after you have applied the finishing touches.
Since you have reminded me that this is a forum, you can remind us of the topic that you want us to have a discussion with instead of straying off-topic.
