GNCA - We’re All So F’d | NVIDIA x Palantir, Global Surveillance, "Pre-Crime" Arrests, & AI

People might not be too family with GamerNexus, yet I do think that he’s doing an amazing job as of lately when it comes to consumer rights advocacy. :hugs:

Sheer coincidence. Watching this just as you posted this. His videos on these topics are great so I hope he continues to spread awareness.

The title feels so threatening that I won’t check it, because I’m entirely dependent on CUDA. :grimacing:

This video is long but just finished it. Such an important topic and video with all that it shows and explains. If people were not struggling as much and busy keeping themselves warm, stuff like this is what revolutions would normally be made of.

Maybe a little off topic, but it makes Coreboot supported hardware look more appealing all the time.

Good to have more youtubers branching out into privacy issues.

Unfortunately, my old ears have a hard time hearing the spoken word when music and sound effects are playing at the same time. I gave up watch after about 2 minutes.

There are options for you as well:

What app did you screenshot?

No app. Just the YT web player on my desktop from my browser.

Thanks for trying to help. Very much appreciated.

The video will not play unless I subscribe which I can’t do without a Youtube account.

Try connecting via a VPN to US or Canada. That always works for me. EU locations gives me the same issue.

Alternatively, there is also Freetube app.

I’ll try a few USA locations. Already connected to Canada with Protonvpn.

I’m on Mullvad so your mileage may vary. Try using a new instance of Mullvad Browser or any other with site data and cookies cleared. That could help too.

US-NY works for me for what it’s worth.

I’ll give it a shot and report back. Thanks again.

I like their style and I generally find them pretty assertive. However, it fails to see the “eye behind the eye”. Of course, is it bad that we have corporations that are so reckless and would basically condemn mankind any time for a little more profit. But they wouldn’t sell that much, if there wouldn’t be many other individuals who want to be like them (possibly worse) and states and governments who want to persecute, punish and manipulate in every way possible the same people who make it possible for them to exist in first place and afford the tools they have. That this doesn’t cause any major uprising, is not only due to the fact that we are so afraid and feel powerless in our fragmentation, but also due to the fact that the majority of people grew up to tick with the same mentality: more money justifies every thing and to be successful you need to be more headstrong, reckless and obsessed than the rest and so on.. this cause and consequences are in a most vicious circle.
