And Gmail has tied basic stuff like spell checking to this “Smart Features” option. So to get basic spell checking you have to opt in to the full AI scanning of your emails.

This audit should be performed on any big tech product or service you use. Might as well check them all out to disable what should be disabled.

Might as well just degoogle and have done with these nafarious ass holes.

Smart Features is also turned on in all other Google apps too! If you use a Google account without Gmail, you can turn it off in the Google Drive settings.
